Business Application Developer South Bend, IN Area Compensation:

$75,000 - 85,000 Overview We are seeking a Business Application Developer to join a growing organization focused on improving business operations through technology. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys building and supporting applications, optimizing databases, automating processes, and partnering with stakeholders to solve business challenges. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining business-critical applications while helping drive efficiency through technology and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using C# and .NET. Enhance and support existing desktop and enterprise applications. Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement. Collaborate with end users and business leaders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Create reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights to support decision-making. Participate in application deployment, maintenance, and ongoing support. Troubleshoot application, database, and system issues. Document solutions, processes, and technical specifications. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of software development experience.

Strong experience with:

C# .NET Framework / .NET SQL Server Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Database design and development Experience developing and supporting custom business applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with WinForms applications. Experience with DevOps practices and application deployment. Experience with APIs and system integrations. Knowledge of business process automation and workflow optimization. Exposure to reporting and business intelligence tools. Manufacturing, operations, or industrial business experience. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies. #
