What You Will Do:

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Software Engineer to support their ma nufacturing shop floor. The Software Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day development, support, and troubleshooting of custom and off-the-shelf manufacturing applications. This will include but not limited to: Machine tool HMI screens, reporting or visualization tools such as manufacturing tracking and priority systems, Manufacturing process data consolidation, and Statistical Process Control tools (SPC). Design and create

HMI / SCADA

interfaces for shop floor machine tools. Design and create custom business applications to collect, analyze and report data critical to plant operations. Analyze application performance and debug and/or repair as necessary. Modify custom applications to accommodate new functionality needed to satisfy compliance or business requirements. Design reporting solutions and present a mock-up of the expected reporting output for review and approval. Convert legacy software applications to current technologies.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2 or more years of experience in software engineering, in manufacturing operations or similar environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Experience with a programming language such as .Net, Java, or Python. Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server or other relational databases Experience with source control tools such as Git Self-Starter, works well with minimal supervision

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience in automation or robotic applications PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Factory Talk) Experience with the Ignition by Inductive Automation software platform Computer Science or Engineering degree (computer, software, or electrical) Experience creating reports and data analysis Please ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
