Konik is partnering with a manufacturing client that is seeking an Application Engineer to contribute to the sales and servicing of custom industrial equipment. This individual will play a key role in ASME design documentation for project support and developing tools to enhance engineering capabilities.
Application Engineer Responsibilities:
Engineer and design products to meet client specifications and align withpany standards.
Prepare and present detailed equipment proposals, securing customer approval.
Use SolidWorks to create detailed engineering designs from drawings, sketches, or written instructions.
Provide specifications to design drafters and oversee the accuracy of their output.
Develop and maintain software tools, databases, and applications to streamline engineering tasks.
Ensurepliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Collaborate with clients, internal teams, shop personnel, and external vendors.
Occasionally travel to customer sites for sales and technical support (
