Application Programmer#26-08808 PROXY, TX Plano, TX Charlotte, NC Onsite Contract Starts 11/02/2026 Ends 11/01/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Lead Senior Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC; Pennington, NJ; or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The successful candidate will lead the analysis of existing services, applications, and document repositories to develop and guide the implementation of modernization solutions. This role focuses on technical leadership, solution design, and coordinating content migration activities across multiple teams, ensuring the successful transition from legacy platforms to modern target-state repositories.

Responsibilities:

Lead technical analysis of existing content repositories, document management systems, and supporting services Design migration strategies for document content, metadata, security models, and integrations Define content mapping, transformation, and migration approaches between legacy and target platforms Architect scalable content services and APIs that align with enterprise modernization objectives Evaluate repository structures, workflows, retention policies, and content lifecycle requirements Develop technical design artifacts including architecture diagrams, data mapping specifications, migration runbooks, and implementation plans Collaborate with development teams to establish coding standards, migration frameworks, and best practices Provide hands-on support forplex coding, proof-of-concepts, and migration tooling when required Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful migration oues Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensurepliance with enterprise standards and governance requirements Mentor developers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in the following primary skill sets: Java/Spring Boot IBM Filenet MongoDB Enterprise application architecture and solution design System integration architecture Content migration strategies Metadata modeling and mapping Authentication and authorization (OAuth, SAML, JWT) Required 3 days onsite Desired skills: Experience with Enterprise Content Management Knowledge of document indexing and search technologies Experience in highly regulated enterprise environments with large-scale document repositories Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
