Our growing client needs a coachable self-starter to help deliver product solutions that meet customer needs. Responsibilities of the Application/Customer Engineer Interpret complex customer requirements Develop, plan, and implement design solutions via engineering analysis, product capability, manufacturing knowledge, and engineering processes across all product lines Work collaboratively with internal teams in pursuit of new business opportunities Lead activities with internal and external customers to address and resolve part configuration, change management, and change implementation throughout the entire product life cycle Utilize knowledge associated with FAA Technical Standard Orders (TSO) and Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) Review and check engineering calculations, design models, drawings, and design documents Initiate and execute continuous improvement and strategic initiatives Qualifications of the Application/Customer Engineer 2+ years of experience Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Knowledgeable in product application, part configuration, design solutions, tooling, and cost estimates Ability to execute technical tasks associated with engineering release processes (requirements management, product configuration, test protocol, technical documentation, engineering drawings, and contract review deliverables) Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively We look forward to connecting with you about this full-time, direct-hire Application/Customer Engineer opportunity!
