Bridgewater, NJ hybrid $91-96/Hr. About the Role This is a contract opportunity for an HCM Integrations Lead supporting an Enterprise Applications team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on the design, development, and delivery of Workday HCM integrations and enterprise integration solutions. The role will also support automation and emerging AI capabilities that improve operational efficiency and enable continued business growth. Responsibilities Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of Workday integrations and technical solutions. Serve as the technical lead for Workday initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Provide architectural guidance across Workday Integrations, Extend, APIs, Orchestrate, and AI-enabled solutions. Lead and mentor Workday developers and integration consultants, including code reviews and technical oversight. Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Establish technical standards, governance processes, and best practices across the Workday platform.

APIs Drive adoption of Workday Extend, Workday AI/Illuminate, and automation capabilities. Manage technical deliverables, project timelines, risks, dependencies, and production support activities. Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance requirements. Troubleshoot complex integrations and platform issues, including root-cause analysis and long-term remediation. Collaborate with internal and external partners to evaluate new Workday capabilities and platform enhancements. Required Qualifications 10+ years of HCM technical experience, including 8+ years of Workday integrations and technical solution delivery . Proven experience leading Workday technical teams and enterprise-scale implementations.

Workday APIs Web services Strong experience with Workday Extend, Workday Orchestrate, and custom application development. Experience implementing and leveraging Workday AI/Illuminate capabilities and automation solutions. Strong understanding of Workday security, business processes, reporting, and integration architecture. Experience with enterprise middleware, cloud integrations, and API-driven architecture. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead technical resources across projects and support activities. Strong knowledge of HR, Payroll, Talent, Recruiting, Compensation, and Time Tracking processes. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, ServiceNow, and DevOps practices. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Workday certifications in Integrations, Extend, or related areas are highly desirable. Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, and AI-enabled workforce solutions is a plus.
