Application Programmer IV#26-07789 Jacksonville, FL Plano, TX Onsite Contract Starts 9/01/2026 Ends 9/03/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer IV for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jacksonville, FL and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for developing and deliveringplex software requirements to aplish business goals. The ideal candidate will ensure that solutions are well-designed, meet all functional andpliance standards, and will leverage a strong knowledge of development practices, design patterns, and multiple programming languages including Python, Ansible, and Java.

Responsibilities:

Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria andpliance requirements Design, develop, and modify architectureponents, application interfaces, and solution enablers Mentor other software engineers and coach the team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) practices Execute story refinement, define requirements, and estimate work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Automate manual release activities Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance) Deliverplex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies Provide technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations Accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery

Requirements:

5+ years of solid experience as a Software Engineer Experience in multiple frontend and backend languages (Python, Ansible, Java, and Bash scripting) Deep understanding of data structures and object-oriented programming principles Experience with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL Knowledge of application development methodologies and infrastructure Proficiency in executing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and delivering automated software testing Working knowledge of JIRA, Remedy, or ServiceNow Experience with C# Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
