What You'll Do In this role, you'll be a technical leader and subject-matter expert, driving development and continuous improvement across our Fluid Systems portfolio. You'll collaborate with customers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, and cross-functional partners to bring high-performance products to life.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading development, qualification, and launch of new proprietary and customer Fluid Systems products. Ensuring designs meet customer needs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (EPA, CARB, ANSI/OPEI, SAE, FMVSS). Managing validation testing, certifications, regulatory documentation, and EPA CDX submissions. Providing hands-on applications engineering support for fuel systems, reservoirs, caps, fittings, venting solutions, materials, and additives. Partnering with Manufacturing and Quality to improve cost, performance, reliability, and process capability. Supporting customer technical inquiries, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions. Collaborating with Sales on new business opportunities, technical presentations, and customer visits. Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, labs, and industry partners. #

Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience with plastics fluid systems, injection molding, blow molding, and secondary operations preferred. Industry knowledge related to outdoor power equipment fuel tanks is a plus. Strong 3D CAD/SolidWorks skills. Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, Internet tools, FTP, and ISO procedures. Work Environment This role offers a mix of office-based engineering work and hands-on testing activities. Typical weekly schedule is 40 hours, with additional time as needed.
