Job Overview Triple B Garage Doors and Gates is establishing a dedicated Gates and Automation division. We are hiring a manager to lead it, covering custom gate fabrication, gate automation installation and service, and access control from estimate through installation. This is a management position. The manager designs and oversees custom gate builds, coordinates and inspects installations, quotes access control on site, and keeps customers and the office informed on every job. The manager's team performs the fabrication and installation, and the manager is accountable for quality, timeliness, and communication. The Gates and Automation Manager reports to the Owner/General Manager. What the Job Entails Oversee or provide estimates for gate repair, gate automation, and access control. The office takes inbound calls and routes them to the Gates and Automation Manager. (Custom gate sales, and the operators sold with those gates, are currently handled by a separate Sales Coordinator) Design and draw plans for custom gates and direct the two welders on each build. Oversee gate automation installs, automation service, and manual pedestrian gate service. The office schedules every job. The manager inspects the completed work where necessary, and is accountable for the results. Manage access control from estimate through installation: on-site estimating and design, cloud access management, tenant sub-accounts, and code management within Triple B's system. Sell gate automation and access control. Commission is uncapped. Communicate directly with customers on every job, including completion dates, and keep builders and the office informed. Build relationships with communities, HOAs, builders, contractors, and commercial property managers. Supervise two welders and one installation/automated service technician. What We Are Looking For At least 3 years of hands-on experience with automated gate systems and access control, including programming, installation, and service, with the ability to design a job and review another technician's work. At least 2 years of experience leading jobs, a crew, or a service department, or in management in the same or related field. Working knowledge of swing and slide operators, control boards, low voltage wiring, loop detectors, entrapment protection, and access control hardware. Familiarity with UL 325 and

gate safety and construction standards. Able to estimate on site and explain a system to a customer in plain language. Communicates proactively with customers, builders, and the office. Valid Arizona driver license and a clean driving record. Able to pass a background check and drug screen. Nice to Have Experience estimating and selling commercial access control. Experience with major commercial operator brands and common access control brands. Fabrication background, or experience drawing gate plans for fabrication. Low voltage or electrical training or certification. Experience with HOA, property management, and commercial accounts. Bilingual, English and Spanish. About Triple B Triple B Garage Doors and Gates is a locally owned, faith-driven contractor (ROC 284792) serving homeowners, builders, HOAs, and commercial property managers across the Phoenix metro. We operate primarily as a word-of-mouth company, and we focus on honestly meeting our customers' needs above all else. Pay and Benefits $87,000 per year salary, paid weekly. 4% commission on gate automation and access control sales, uncapped, earned when the job is paid in full.
