Akkodis is seeking a Senior Functional QA for a Contract with a client in Hamilton, NJ. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts, executing regression suites, and supporting CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps.

Rate Range:

$30/Hour to $37/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Senior Functional QA Job Responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Java, Selenium, and Playwright to validate application functionality and quality. Execute functional, regression, API, and backend testing while identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through Azure DevOps/Jira. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams during requirement reviews, defect triages, and test planning activities. Perform SQL-based data validation and verify API responses, database records, and file-based data (CSV/JSON) for accuracy and consistency. Support CI/CD testing processes by integrating and executing automated test suites within Azure DevOps pipelines and analyzing test results. Leverage AI-assisted testing tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance test case creation, automation efficiency, defect analysis, and overall QA productivity.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 6-8 years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Engineering with a focus on test automation. Hands-on experience with Python and Java, Selenium/Playwright, API testing, SQL validation, and test automation frameworks. Experience working with Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD environments, and AI-assisted testing practices; Wealth Management or Financial Services domain experience is highly preferred. Pay Details:
