Job Description

We're Hiring! Our key client in the Legal industry is looking for additional members to their team. We have a QA Automation Analyst (Remote) role on the team.
Pay Rate:
$24 - $35/hour on W2
Work Type:
Remote - 50 miles within
Approved Hub Locations Work Schedule:
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST | Limited overtime expected | Some scheduled deployment activities occur around 7:00 PM PT and may require QA support. | Flexible work schedule available.
Duration:
12-month contract with possible extension
Job Overview:
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. This role requires a strong foundation in manual and automated testing, collaboration with development teams, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions .
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct software testing to identify, document, and resolve defects. Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies. Perform Manual Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright. Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met. Perform Software Quality Assurance (SQA) activities and support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide testing progress updates, reports, and recommendations. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact product quality. Create and maintain test data as needed. Work within Agile development methodologies and participate in Agile ceremonies. Foster a collaborative and productive quality assurance environment. Required Skills:
Experience in Manual Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and UAT testing. Ability to build and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright. Ability to coach and mentor QA team members on automation testing practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related field. Experience with software testing and test automation. Experience with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. Strong understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) principles. Medium-level SQL skills, including the ability to query, create, and maintain test data. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field. Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) or equivalent certification. Physical Requirements Ability to work in an office environment. Ability to sit, stand, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
