Job Description

Test Engineer Title:

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

As a Test Engineer, you ll be responsible for the development work for new product electrical and automated test software and test equipment development.
Responsibilities:
Drafts proposals for testing programs and operating procedures; outlines the specific testing conditions to be applied.

Modifies test fixtures, control circuits, and instrumentation.

Designs new test fixtures, control circuits, and instrumentation for testers for new products and engineering testing.

Programs test computers to automate/control tests and record test data for new products and engineering testing.

Work with product design engineers to develop test methods to ensure that specification performance requirements are met. Write clear and complete test procedures, instructions, and test reports.

Work with facility manager and test engineering manager in assessing and modifying facility infrastructure when installing new test equipment.

Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.

Travel requirements: Occasional travel up to 10% (general guideline: potentially once per year) within U.S/Outside U.S.Other duties may be assigned.
Additional Hours:
Evening/night hours may be required. Extra hours may be required during business peaks
Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, or a relevant technical field5+ years of related aerospace work experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss product flaws in a constructive and positive manner.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent troubleshooting and repair skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare test reports and proposalsProficient in LABView and additional programming languages (C++, Python, etc.) preferredUnderstanding of aircraft power generation required.

Must be a U.S. person under ITAR regulations
