Role:

SquadLocker is looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our websites and web applications. In this role, you will be the final checkpoint before our code reaches production. You will work closely with our development team, using Jira to track assignments, report bugs, and verify fixes. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional looking to grow their career in software testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities Manual Testing :

Execute functional, usability, and regression tests on websites and web applications across multiple browsers and devices prior to production deployment.

Issue Tracking :

Monitor Jira boards for daily task assignments, test newly developed features, and document bugs with clear reproduction steps.

Verification :

Work closely with developers to review requirements, test resolved issues, and prepare for deployments.

Continuous Improvement :

Help create and improve testing documentation and checklists to streamline the QA process. Required Qualifications Fundamental understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Familiarity with web browser functionality for desktop and mobile. Experience using Jira (or similar project management tools) for issue tracking and workflow management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus) Basic understanding of SQL for querying databases to verify data integrity during testing. Previous experience in software testing, computer science, or web development.

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $70,500.00 per year
