Job Description

Description:
Provide transparency and notification of series quality issues on PLQ test Vehicles. Define and order PLQ test vehicles. Facilitate PLQ testing with reporting of PQM-incidents as part of the problem resolution. The qualified intern/co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions: Coordinate PLQ planning to meet plants requirement for testing. Identifies and presents a clear problem landscape for problem resolution responsible (LV). (Handshake) Contacts pertinent associates for further input and schedules vehicles to be provided for analysis or repair. Provides and communicates an analysis request for major quality issues to the analysis responsible. (Handshake) Generates monthly reports regarding PLQ. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office acquired through classroom or Work experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Proficiency is communications with customers and associates. Preferred knowledge of BMW Systems (e.g., SAP, PQM, and Vehicle Admin.) Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (Not just in major) Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States. Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application. Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week). Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
