Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software systems from the end-user perspective. This position is responsible for overseeing end-to-end testing processes, validating that software solutions meet business requirements and user expectations before deployment. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects, including those related to the Hilton Honors program, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Take full ownership of UAT projects, coordinating all testing activities and ensuring successful sign-off. Set up and maintain testing environments to ensure reliable and accurate testing results. Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools to validate software functionality. Identify, document, and prioritize defects discovered during testing, ensuring timely resolution. Communicate test results and provide regular status updates to relevant stakeholders. Work closely with business analysts and managers to understand project requirements and user expectations. Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive test plans, including defining test objectives, scope, and test cases. Engage end-users and stakeholders throughout the testing process to gather feedback, validate requirements, and ensure user acceptance of the final product. Support UAT efforts for internal Hilton systems and contribute to projects related to Hilton Honors program applications.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to design, execute, and evaluate UAT scenarios that align with business requirements and user expectations. Exceptional attention to detail when performing testing activities. Ability to create clear and comprehensive test scripts and bug reports. Strong multi-tasking abilities and effective time management skills. Proficiency in navigating calculations, performing basic formulas, and utilizing functions in Excel. Experience using Jira for test management and defect tracking. Familiarity with API testing and Postman authentication setup, as well as automation of testing scripts (preferred). SQL knowledge (preferred).

Experience:

3+ years of experience in UAT testing 3+ years of experience using the Jira application for test management and tracking.
