Job Overview This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling Aztecs Telecom's mission. The Zabbix System Analyst is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and optimization of the Aztecs Zabbix monitoring server inclusive of the Debian Linux operating system (OS) and Zabbix v7 monitoring software. This person must have experience in Zabbix and one or more Linux operating systems such as Debian. This person will analyze and fixes performance issues related to networking and OS as well as provide application upgrades. Along with being responsible for configuration management, monitoring, and maintenance of all Zabbix related items. As a Zabbix System Analyst, this person must be able to work in a team-oriented environment. This person must be able to communicate well with management and fellow employees. This person must be an independent self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and handle frequently changing priorities. Responsibilities The following role description lists some, but not all, of the responsibilities for the Zabbix Analyst role: Develop thresholds, alert-routing logic, automated ticket creation, escalation workflows, and alternate monitoring capabilities for maintenance or software outages Onboarding new wireless DAS, power, and other systems for monitoring and maintenance. Assist in server operations including operating systems (OS) and utilities on the server. Assist in configuration management and system monitoring. Provides monitoring and administration of databases. Analyzes and fixes performance issues related to networking and OS and provides application upgrades. Responsible for configuration management, monitoring, and maintenance of all Zabbix servers. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organizational objectives. Interact with all coworkers in a professional manner. Demonstrate care for all company property. Acknowledge and reply to emails in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free, and orderly work environment, adhering to OSHA and company standards. Conduct business in an ethical and trustworthy manner at all times. Pay:

$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
