Team Position Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using electronic health data. The incumbent will work on a multidisciplinary team of developers within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department and will collaborate with other institutions across the University of California Health. The incumbent will use UCI Health software such as Crystal Reports, SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, Epic Reporting Workbench, Epic Radar, and the enterprise data warehouse to deliver high quality reports and analytic solutions. This includes quality metrics, regulatory requirements, and general clinical/operational reporting. What It Takes to be

Successful Required Qualifications:

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience

Ability to perform basic performance tuning to optimize queries to meet user needs

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

3+ years of experience with SQL

3+ years of experience with MS SQL server or Oracle as well as reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau, etc

3+ year of data analytics experience using relational databases

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Experience utilizing Lean concepts including visibility walls, problem solving A3's, and Gemba rounding principles

Experience using Collibra or similar Data Governance platform

Experience in software development life cycle

Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation within a centralized code repository

Clarity Beaker Certification

5+ years of healthcare analytics experience

5+ years of experience working with

EPIC EHR

5+ years of experience with SSRS, SSIS, Crystal Reports, and Tableau

5+ Years of experience with quality metric reporting
