Hiring Department Information Technology The Information Technology Department supports administrative systems, academic technologies, and research computing. System reliability and campus operations are strengthened through IT initiatives. IT roles involve system support, infrastructure maintenance, and technical collaboration with campus units. This may include managing impactful incidents, maintenance events, or project implementations. Primarily on campus, with flexibility for remote or hybrid work as approved.
Nature of work:
Develops, maintains, and supports campus technology, hardware, software and systems as a first point of contact.
Key Responsibilities:
This position requires working knowledge of account management processes, networking, and remote management tools Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues is required The ideal candidate should be able to support multiple assignments and contribute to maintenance schedules and documentation Be able to operate independently on routine tasks and collaborate with others for complex problem solving

Preferred Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience Basic knowledge of technical principles and methods of computers and peripherals Ability to integrate basic principles of discipline with processes and procedures Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues Relevant certifications preferred Working knowledge of AV systems, networking, and remote management tools Ability to manage multiple support assignments Anticipated Hiring Range The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.87 - $26.87. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
