Job Summary:
We are seeking a SailPoint IAM Analyst to support a large-scale SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) program focused on Segregation of Duties (SOD) policy implementation, governance processes, and access management support across hundreds of applications. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and project stakeholders to help drive execution across a complex identity governance initiative. The role may sit in Pittsburgh, Lake Mary, or New York City and requires 4 days onsite per week with standard hours of 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Eastern.
Key Responsibilities:
IAM & SOD
Analysis Support:
Support implementation of SailPoint IdentityIQ SOD policies by assisting with requirements gathering, policy analysis, violation tracking, remediation coordination, and governance activities
Workflow & Access Governance Support:
Assist with setup, maintenance, testing, and coordination of workflows related to provisioning, approvals, certifications, remediation, and lifecycle events
Requirements & Jira Management:
Receive assigned Jira work items, support analysis of requirements, and help track project execution across IAM-related development and governance activities
Testing & Validation:
Participate in testing, validation, and quality review of SailPoint workflows, access processes, policy configurations, and remediation outcomes
Reporting & Data Review:
Support custom audit reporting, policy evaluation analysis, and SQL-based reporting or reconciliation efforts to help monitor violations, access patterns, and operational issues
Stakeholder Coordination:
Work with engineers, IAM leadership, and business/application stakeholders to support implementation activities, issue resolution, and documentation needs
Documentation Support:
Prepare and maintain technical, operational, and process documentation, including implementation details, governance support materials, and knowledge transfer content
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience supporting IAM, SailPoint, Identity Governance, or access management initiatives in a project-based environment Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, including understanding of workflows, lifecycle events, approvals, governance, or access request processes Understanding of Segregation of Duties (SOD) concepts, identity lifecycle management, and access governance principles Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work through assigned project tasks and support execution across multiple workstreams Ability to support testing, issue analysis, reporting, and documentation in a structured environment Familiarity with SQL for basic-to-intermediate reporting, analysis, or troubleshooting support Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience in financial services or other highly regulated, enterprise-scale organizations
Preferred Experience:
Exposure to Java, BeanShell, XML, or light SailPoint technical configuration work Familiarity with Git, Jira, and structured development or deployment practices Experience supporting SOD policy implementations, access certifications, entitlement governance, or role management initiatives Exposure to audit reporting, operational controls, remediation tracking, or compliance-driven IAM processes SailPoint certifications preferred
