Job Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Application Analyst 3 for a hybrid contract position in Newport News, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

(REQUIRED

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience. Master's Degree and 3 years of experience. Ph.D. and 0 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.
Windows Support
Application Support
Automation Experience
Experience with Windows Server OS administration, Linux, networking, maintenance and patch remediation.
Install, configure, patch, and maintain enterprise applications, middleware (e.g., WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), and associated web servers (IIS, Apache)

Scripting & Automation:

Proficiency in scripting languages; automation tools like Ansible

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards.
Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree is required. School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS

5/40 workweek. First Shift 7:30AM-4:00 PM. Hybrid position- must be local to Newport News. HYB
