Job Description
We're seeking a Home Technology Consultant to support a growing Verizon Wireless campaign. In this full-time, in-person role, you'll meet with customers during scheduled home appointments to introduce wireless products, smartphones, mobile devices, and service plans. You'll help customers explore their options, answer questions, and recommend solutions that fit their needs while assisting with new enrollments, account setup, and device activation. As a Home Technology Consultant, you'll combine product knowledge, relationship building, and customer service to create a positive experience while helping customers find the right wireless solutions. Responsibilities of the Home Technology Consultant Meet with customers during scheduled home appointments to present Verizon Wireless products, smartphones, mobile devices, service plans, and promotions. Explain product features, pricing, wireless plans, and connectivity options in a clear and approachable manner. Recommend wireless solutions based on each customer's communication needs and preferences. Assist interested customers with wireless enrollments, account setup, device activation, and account transfers. Answer questions and provide personalized guidance to help customers make informed decisions. Collaborate with service technicians to support a smooth, professional customer experience. Build strong customer relationships while working toward individual and team sales goals. Qualifications of the Home Technology Consultant Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, technology, or telecommunications is beneficial but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers. Comfortable meeting with customers in person and explaining technology products and services. Motivated, dependable, and eager to learn new products and sales techniques. Interest in smartphones, wireless technology, mobile devices, and customer-facing sales. Willingness to participate in ongoing training to learn Verizon Wireless products, promotions, and service offerings.
