Job Description

Visual Designer (UI)
Employment Type:
Freelance We are seeking a senior-level Visual Designer (UI) to shape intuitive, polished digital experiences for a portfolio of operational applications. This role will focus on modernizing tools that support logistics planning, service coordination, and route-based field operations. You will partner closely with business leaders, product stakeholders, and technology teams to transform complex operational requirements into clear, responsive user interfaces. Your primary deliverables will include screen designs, navigation structures, interaction patterns, and detailed specifications that enable development teams to build with confidence. What You'll Do Design responsive, accessible user interfaces for new and redesigned web applications. Create end-to-end user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and navigation models. Translate business needs and operational workflows into thoughtful interaction and visual design solutions. Develop design specifications and handoff materials for engineering teams implementing solutions in Angular, React, and JavaScript-based environments. Collaborate directly with business stakeholders, product partners, developers, and IT leaders throughout the design lifecycle. Present design rationale clearly, facilitate productive discussions, and guide stakeholders toward practical, user-centered decisions. Identify opportunities to simplify complex workflows and improve usability across planning and operations tools. Work independently in evolving environments while maintaining strong attention to detail and delivery quality. What You'll Bring Proven experience designing enterprise web applications, operational platforms, or workflow-driven digital products. Strong command of responsive UI design, interaction design, information architecture, and user-centered design principles. Experience producing developer-ready visual specifications and detailed design handoffs. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to interpret ambiguous business challenges, ask the right questions, and turn insights into effective interface solutions. A collaborative, consultative approach and the confidence to provide design leadership across cross-functional teams. Experience with Angular or React is beneficial, but hands-on development experience is not required. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting logistics, field service, transportation, dispatch, or route-planning applications. Familiarity with design systems and component-based UI frameworks. Experience working in Agile product or software delivery environments.
