We are seeking an experienced, creative, and technically skilled Web Developer & Graphic Designe r to support the digital marketing efforts of a growing business development company. This hands-on position combines custom WordPress development, graphic design, search engine optimization (SEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), user experience (UX), and conversion optimization. The ideal candidate understands that a successful website must do more than look good. It must be fast, functional, search-friendly, easy to navigate, and designed to convert visitors into customers. We're looking for a proactive problem-solver who can independently develop, design, troubleshoot, and optimize websites while collaborating with the Digital Team and management to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities Web Development:

Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites, including custom functionality, themes, plugins, landing pages, forms, and third-party integrations.

Graphic Design:

Create graphics to be utilized for marketing assets consistent with brand standards.

SEO & GEO

Implement technical SEO, local SEO, structured data, and emerging AI-search optimization best practices throughout website development.

User Experience & Conversion Optimization:

Collaborate to improve website navigation, mobile usability, landing pages, calls to action, and customer conversion paths to increase leads and reservations.

Website Performance & Best Practices:

Follow modern development standards for clean code, website speed, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, security, responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.

Analytics & Conversion Tracking:

Help to maintain and troubleshoot GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and website conversion tracking.

Website Management:

Oversee website updates, hosting coordination, troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and ongoing performance improvements.

Digital Marketing Collaboration:

Work closely with the Digital Marketing Team to implement website improvements, support campaigns and recommend creative and technical solutions. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional website development experience, with extensive hands-on WordPress expertise. Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, including custom WordPress development and third-party integrations. Demonstrated graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable professional design tools. Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, local SEO, and search-friendly website architecture. Familiarity with GEO, AI-powered search, and evolving search optimization practices. Experience with UX/UI design, mobile-first development, and conversion-rate optimization. Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console. Knowledge of website security, accessibility, performance optimization, and development best practices. Ability to independently manage projects from planning and development through testing and launch. Strong organizational, communication, troubleshooting, and creative problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with multi-location businesses, schema markup, custom APIs, CRM or reservation-system integrations, A/B testing, digital advertising, and WordPress hosting environments.
