ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Backend Python Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure) to build scalable cloud-native backend services and infrastructure for healthcare data platforms. The role focuses on developing Python services, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and event-driven data pipelines on AWS and Databricks while ensuring secure, reliable, and HIPAA-compliant data processing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop Python backend services and APIs.
• Build cloud-native infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop Kafka-based event-driven services and data pipelines.
• Implement GraphQL APIs and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Automate infrastructure using Pulumi and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop scalable distributed systems.
• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and QA teams.
• Ensure PHI/HIPAA-compliant data handling and operational excellence.

• 3-5 years of Backend Python development experience
