Overview Physicians Mutual is seeking a motivated student with a passion for web development who's eager to gain hands-on experience creating and supporting customer-facing digital experiences. Our internship program offers hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced technology professionals, and meaningful project work that helps you develop your technical skills while making an impact. As an ETG Web Development Intern, you'll work alongside a collaborative development team supporting Physicians Mutual's corporate website and web-based applications. You'll gain hands-on experience with front-end development, responsive web design, troubleshooting, and enhancements while working closely with technology and business teams across the company. Responsibilities Assist with the development, maintenance and enhancement of Physicians Mutual's corporate website and web-based applications. Support front-end development using technologies such as HTML, Angular, React and Java. Help develop and maintain responsive web experiences across desktop and mobile devices. Assist with troubleshooting, testing and resolving issues affecting customer-facing web applications. Collaborate with developers and business partners to understand needs and implement web-based solutions. Contribute to projects supporting digital tools such as pre-need portals, calculators and other customer-facing applications. Participate in team activities while gaining practical experience with professional software development processes. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology or a related field. Junior or senior standing preferred. Coursework or experience in web development. Familiarity with HTML and modern web development concepts. Exposure to Angular, React, Java or similar development technologies preferred. Understanding of responsive web design principles preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team. Strong communication and organizational skills.
