The city which is situated in the northwest section of Santa Barbara County has a population of approximately 7,000 residents. The District's certificated staff includes 4 teachers at Guadalupe Early Learning Center (TK), 30 teachers at Mary Buren Elementary (K-3 Self-Contained), 23 teachers at Kermit McKenzie Intermediate School (4th

- Contained), and 16 teachers at Guadalupe Jr. High School (7th
- 8th Departmentalized).

Ability to read and write sufficiently to perform all of the duties of the position, including understanding applicable laws, regulations, and codes required. Successful completion of 20 hours of classroom instruction related to skills and safety requirements for driving a school bus and successful completion of 20 hours of instruction behind the wheel of a school bus are required. Requires valid Commercial Driver's License; medical examination card; valid California Special Driver Certificate with SR Endorsement, and valid ARC First Aid Certificate.
