Shuttle Bus Driver, operates a large passenger vehicle to transport passengers from one location to another. Their duties include confirming and following the provided shuttle schedule, maintaining the vehicle to ensure it's safe and driving the shuttle to the designated spots.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES
Drives buses for transportation of passengers per scheduled mission requirements to local or distant points as directed as per submitted request(s). Assists passengers and military units as Regulates heating, lighting and ventilating systems for passenger Complies with local, state, and federal traffic Conducts bus repairs, and changes tires if deemed Inspects bus unit per DOT regulations, responsibilities include confirming fuel, oil and water levels before departing for a scheduled mission. Loads/Unloads checked passenger baggage into bus cargo storage compartment if May be required to drive a variety of transportation equipment in order to complete mission requirements (to include diesel or electric powered transit buses). Drivers shall abide by all rules and regulations of the Transportation Motor Must report schedule delays, vehicle damage, or accidents to TMP management immediately upon Ability to sit for prolong periods of time in driver's seat and capable to lift up to 25 Frequent concentration; public and coworker contact; and working The Transportation Motor Pool is a 24/7 WORKING
ENVIRONMENT
Drivers work mostly outside and operate vehicles in all kinds of weather in a controlled traffic environment. Drivers are exposed to dirt and fumes, and to the possibility of cuts, bruises, and broken bones as a result of accidents while driving or from falling objects when loading and unloading the vehicle. Demonstrates professionalism, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Personal Protection Equipment, such as Face mask (covering the nose and mouth), safety shoes (non - skid), vest and eye wear.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to climb stairs and assist passengers with baggage. Must be able to work under timelines. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid
REAL ID CDL
Class B driver's license with Passenger endorsement. Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport. Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Benning Installation.
EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of the Army Transportation System 2-5 years of professional driving Must be able to work as part of a team, acceptably manage customer contact and treat all company information as proprietary.
