Responsibilities:

THIS POSITION CONSISTS OF AN AM/PM ROUTE. APPROXIMATELY 10 HOURS PER WEEK.

• Safely operate a bus or van to transport students to and from school.
• Follow designated routes and schedules
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, including assisting with boarding and disembarking
• Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns or questions
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the journey
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain all required paperwork.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a bus driver, paratransit driver, van driver, limousine driver, school bus driver, delivery driver, or similar role is preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to drive and operate a vehicle safely and responsibly
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with passengers
• Ability to work independently and follow designated routes and schedules Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
