Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing safe and reliable transportation for students or passengers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage behavior effectively while on the road. Responsibilities Safely operate a bus vehicle according to established routes and schedules. Educate passengers on safety procedures and proper behavior during transit. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation needs and schedules. Manage passenger behavior to ensure a safe and respectful environment. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and incidents as required. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus driving. Previous experience in school bus driving or commercial driving is preferred. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain order on the bus. Ability to drive safely in various weather conditions while adhering to all traffic laws.
