Position may include weekends, late night/early morning hours. We are looking for 3-4 good drivers. As a SWITA Driver, you will be responsible for the operation of a car, van, or bus that picks up and discharges passengers to various destinations. Starting wage is $17.00 per hour with some hours qualifying for a shift differential of $5.00 per hour. Benefits include IPERS, PTO and flexible scheduling. Other available benefits are Vision Plan, Dental Plan and
FSA. DRIVER DUTIES
- Maintaining communication with the dispatcher,
- Maintaining scheduled route and trips as directed by the dispatcher,
- Ensures the safety of passengers while in route to their destination,
- Assists passengers needing help boarding and departing the vehicle,
- Performs pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections,
- Maintain bus cleanliness A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class C with Passenger Endorsement, is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to obtain/maintain CDL Class C with Passenger Endorsement
- Ability to pass a CDL Medical Exam
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
