Job Description

For the 2027 Season Job Summary Thank you for your interest in becoming a driver at Zoar Outdoor in Charlemont, MA. We are currently seeking a motivated, professional, and safety-oriented individual who can drive 47 passenger privately owned school buses. We are seeking part-time and fill in drivers for our season running 6 days/week 4/1-10/15 and the 2027 season as well. Positions are open until filled and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Transport whitewater rafting guests to river locations in company vehicles during the rafting season. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide transportation to various raft launchestake out locations. Perform safety inspection of vehicle prior to and after trips. Report any vehicle mechanical problems to management. Assist with rafting gear; packing, handing it out and collecting after trip. Clean vehicle; sweep floor, empty trash, close and wash windows. Fuel vehicle when needed and maintain all fluid levels. Maintain trip logs and other driver paperwork as required. Drive safely and follow all regulations while driving our vehicles. Secure trailer properly to van and secure rafts to trailer. Communicate with guestsstaff and make each trip a fun experience. Provide driver service for other resort events and functions as needed. Perform other tasks as assigned by manager. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) Skilled in providing outstanding customer service. Must have a Class B Commercial Driver's License with endorsements (either PassengerAirbrake endorsement or school bus endorsement). Current DOT medical card (must be carried with you). Clean Motor Vehicle Driver Record. Must be able to turn bus around in designated areas. Must be able to safely navigate and back up van towing a trailer.

Requirements Shift Requirements:
2-3 days a week Hours may be morning through early evenings Availability one weekend day

Applicants must be at least age 21
