The Driver is responsible for providing Public Transit Transportation & Non-Emergency Transportation services in a safe & reliable manner. The Driver will ensure the customer & the client receive the highest degree of courtesy & professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Provide safe & reliable transportation to customers. Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills. Provide excellent customer service to clients & customers. Must assist with passenger loading & unloading from vehicle. Must assist with any mobility device & secure as required for safety protocols. Ensure on-time pick-up & drop off of customer. Demonstrates understanding & sensitivity of the needs of older adults & individuals with disabilities. Familiar with the main roadways & major highways in the service area. Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, & schedules. Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, & DVI inspections as required. Familiar of

FTA & DOT

regulations. Complete paperwork as required. Utilize tablets or electronic device as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Possess valid authorization to work in the United States. Must have driving experience. Must be able to pass DOT physical, & Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening. Must pass a criminal background check. No suspensions, DUI, or more than 1 citation in the past 5 years. Must have valid CDL Must have passenger endorsement Must be at least 24 years of age (for insurance purposes)
