This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, part-time work while supporting student activities. Schedules include morning only, afternoon only and both morning and afternoon routes. Key Responsibilities Safely transport students to/from home and school. May provide field trip transport during the school day and outside of school ours as needed. May also transport student athletes to and from athletic events, practices, and competitions as needed. Check the operating condition of the bus before starting each trip and ensure the vehicle is in safe working order. Report any operational defects or mechanical issues immediately to a supervisor. Inform students of proper safety practices and ensure all safety procedures are followed. Maintain orderly conduct of students while on the bus. Keep the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean and neat. Maintain accurate records of mileage, routes, time, and incidents. Prepare and maintain maps of routes and pick-up/drop-off points. Communicate effectively with teachers, coaches, administrators, and transportation supervisors. May be required to operate a sport utility vehicle or other similar vehicle as needed. May be required to perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicle. Follow all district policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations at all times.
