PRIMARY PURPOSE

Safely transport students and school personnel to and from authorized campuses and final destinations. Periodically transport students and school personnel to and from extra-curricular activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License with Passenger endorsement. (CDL

REQUIRED

) Valid Enrollment Certificate or Texas School Bus Driver Certification. Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical Medical Examination Special knowledge/

Skills:

Ability to pass alcohol and drug test. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to adjust and deviate from route description when traffic and /or weather conditions justify such actions. Ability to communicate effectively and use a 2-way radio. Ability to manage student behavior.

Minimum Experience:

No previous experience is necessary.

REQUIRED

Background (police) check will be conducted.
