Seeking City Bus Driver/Transit Operator

oshkoshwi.gov. The City of Oshkosh is on the hunt for a customer focused Transit Operator/Laborer to add to our GO Transit staff!

Type:

Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Compensation:

Starting at $28.04 with increases at 6 months and 1 year, and annually thereafter.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate a public bus following established routes with precision.
• Stick to schedules, ensuring passengers board, travel, and reach their destination on time.
• Maintain the highest safety standards, making every trip not just swift but secure.
• Perform light, routine upkeep of the transit vehicles and facilities - because a smoothly running bus makes for happy riders!

Applicants Must Have:

• Previous experience driving large trucks, preferably as a bus or transit driver.
• A valid WI CDL Class B with a Passenger Endorsement and no air brake restriction.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
