Drummond Company, Inc. is seeking a reliable, trustworthy individual with top-notch customer service skills to fill the Courier role. This position is temporary to permanent. Individual must pass background, drug screen, and have an excellent driving record. Business casual attire is required. The position of Courier is primarily responsible for the delivery and distribution of mail interoffice and to various locations in the Birmingham area.

Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday / 8:00am - 5:00pm (hours may vary)

Responsibilities:

Picking up mail from the Post Office every morning Dropping off mail at the Post Office every evening Delivering mail to the various locations Making bank deposits Making special deliveries Checking for adequate postage Ensuring delivery deadlines are met

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license Excellent driving record Attention to detail Great personality Reliable & trustworthy General business knowledge Good oral/written communication skills Ability to complete daily job requirements in a timely manner Demonstrated ability to work in a sometimes stressful environment Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling required for mailing/packages that weigh up to 50 lbs.; may have to lift and carry items weighing more occasionally.
