Job Description

General Description Collects and delivers mail and other documents from branch offices, main bank facility and U.S. Post Office; sorts and distributes supplies and incoming mail; processes outgoing mail; wraps coin; assists with building maintenance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drives company vehicle to collect transit items from branch offices, and to pick up and deliver mail as scheduled. Processes all classes of outgoing mail; sorts, weighs and applies appropriate postage using electronic scale and postage machine. Maintains cleanliness of mail area; maintains adequate supply of forms, ink and meter tape for postage machine; schedules, or reports need for, routine or emergency maintenance of mailing equipment. Verifies supply requisitions through automated system; stores supplies on shelves; delivers supplies to main bank and branch locations. Following strict security procedures, collects, delivers, sorts and stores negotiable and non-negotiable documents and currency. Performs light janitorial duties and grounds maintenance at all facilities. Operates automated coin wrapping machine; schedules, or reports need for, routine or emergency maintenance of coin machine. Assures proper maintenance and cleanliness of assigned bank vehicle. Performs cleaning and light maintenance of various banking equipment such as currency counters and encoders; schedules, or reports need for major maintenance this equipment. Provides assistance with processing vendor invoicing. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
