OVERVIEW CGB

Express, a DHL Service Partner, is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our Delray Beach team. In this role, you will operate company box trucks and deliver packages and freight throughout North Broward, Palm Beach, and Martin counties . You will be responsible for safely loading and unloading freight, navigating assigned routes, completing deliveries accurately and on time, and providing professional customer service. This position does NOT require a CDL. Drivers may operate vehicles ranging from 16-foot box trucks up to 26-foot box trucks , depending on operational needs. You may also be required to operate a regular cargo van on occasion. This is a physically active position that requires frequent loading, unloading, lifting, carrying, and moving packages and freight throughout the workday.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience Previous box truck, delivery, route, or commercial driving experience preferred Ability to safely operate box trucks up to 26 feet Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated Acceptable driving record in accordance with company and insurance requirements Ability to safely load, unload, lift, carry, and handle freight Ability to use GPS/navigation systems and follow assigned delivery routes Reliable attendance and punctuality Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently while maintaining safety and productivity standards Must be willing to complete required pre-employment screening CDL is NOT required for this position.

SCHEDULE

Monday:

8:15 AM until completion of route Approximately 10-12 hours

Tuesday-Friday:

11:15 AM until completion of route Approximately 8-10 hours

Weekends:

Generally not required, except during holidays or peak business periods as operational needs require. Home Daily - No Overnight Routes

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate company box trucks on assigned delivery and pickup routes Deliver and pick up packages and freight safely, accurately, and efficiently Load and unload freight using proper lifting and handling techniques Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transportation Follow GPS/navigation systems and assigned delivery routes Perform required vehicle inspections before, during, and after routes Report vehicle safety concerns, accidents, incidents, or other issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and required records Provide professional and courteous customer service Follow all company safety, security, and operating procedures Assist with other delivery vehicles, including cargo vans, when operationally necessary
