Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Pickup & Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting Lab Specimens to various destinations while delivering exceptional guest services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the face of our company on the road, combining driving expertise with outstanding customer service skills. Responsibilities Safely operate your own vehicle, including ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Pick up and deliver specimens to our Pathology Lab at the end of each business day or designated locations within the specified area. Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required. Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including logs, delivery receipts, and incident reports as needed. Park vehicle responsibly at Multiple AFCOG locations parking areas, ensuring no obstructions or violations occur. Communicate effectively with team members and management Ability to travel between multiple office locations 2-3 hours inside and outside of the metro and surrounding areas. Willing to drive car for multiple hours a day Pick up specimens from lab drop boxes Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred; dealership or retail experience is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is required. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members in bilingual settings if applicable. Familiarity with surrounding areas of College Park- south Atlanta. Demonstrated commitment to being professional and flexable. Ability to lift packages of varying sizes safely and operate delivery equipment as needed.
