POSITION
CourierImmediate OpeningShrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a District Courier, 30 hours per week. The hourly rate is $23.52-$29.30 based on experience. This position is benefit-eligible and includes paid time off.

Candidates with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.
Duties:
Sorts and delivers mail between the schools and central officeProcesses outgoing U.S. mail through postage meterPicks up and delivers food supplies between school kitchensPicks up and delivers furniture and supplies between schoolsMisc. other custodial-related duties to include landscaping, organizing supplies, and similar tasks.

PPE supportOther duties as directed
Requirements:
Valid drivers license and clean driving recordAbility to lift 75 lbs., move heavy furniture, and use material handling equipmentMust successfully complete CORI and SAFIS background checks required of all school employees in MassachusettsAble to use GmailPunctual, trustworthy, and courteous(Smoking is not allowed on school grounds, nor in district vehicle)
