- About the Role
- We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused
- Site Specialist
- to support laboratory operations at a customer site in Ann Arbor, MI. This role is responsible for managing laboratory supplies, packages, samples, equipment, and other site services while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Responsibilities
- + Receive, sort, document, monitor, and deliver laboratory supplies, packages, samples, and mail.
+ Support dock operations, vendor escorts, scheduled deliveries, and rush requests. + Pick up, wash, sterilize, inspect, and return laboratory glassware and equipment. + Maintain clean and organized work areas, docks, storage spaces, and service areas. + Assist with hazardous waste container collection and required documentation. + Manage gas cylinders, garments, and related inventory. + Perform routine eyewash and safety shower inspections. + Maintain accurate logs, records, service metrics, and reports. + Follow all safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and customer/site guidelines. + Address customer concerns and communicate with the lead team to ensure timely resolution. + Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives. + Assist with hazard identification, inspections, and incident reporting as needed. + Perform other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- + High school diploma or equivalent required. + At least
- 1 year of laboratory or customer service experience preferred
•. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work effectively with employees at various levels. + Comfortable using handheld scanners and computer systems to enter and track information. + Basic analytical skills and ability to reconcile reports. + Computer proficiency, including intermediate Microsoft Office skills. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. + Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- + Work primarily takes place at a customer laboratory site and may require independent work. + Ability to regularly lift
- 30-40 lbs.

- 50 lbs.
- + Regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, and manual material handling.
+ Ability to work in varying temperatures, including cold rooms and outdoor areas. + Personal protective equipment may be required, including lab coats, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, and other protective equipment depending on the work area. + Work may involve exposure to environments where chemical-based allergens are present. + Ability to work overtime as needed.

Pay Details:
- $20.
