Duties Safely operate your personal or commercial vehicle, including box trucks, vans, or other delivery vehicles, to complete scheduled deliveries. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Follow designated routes accurately, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and delivery updates. Ensure compliance with all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during route driving. Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages professionally and courteously, addressing recipient inquiries when appropriate. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each shipment processed. Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or commercial truck driving preferred. Ability to handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely in accordance with workplace weight handling standards. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation (such as pallet jacks), and safe lifting practices. Knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT requirements, and route planning best practices. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmation, and communication purposes. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
