$22 per completed route

Expected Hours:

0-2 hours per week; no guaranteed hours CBL Enterprises Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dependable on-call medical courier to transport blood and laboratory specimens in the Fayetteville area. Pickups may occur at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center or Womack Army Medical Center, with delivery to the Fayetteville VA Medical Center or another designated medical facility. This is an as-needed position. Requests may be infrequent and unpredictable. When contacted, the driver must respond immediately and arrive at the pickup location within 45 minutes. Each route averages approximately 15 minutes of driving time. Responsibilities Accept urgent pickup requests during agreed-upon availability Arrive at the pickup location within 45 minutes Safely transport blood and medical specimens Maintain chain-of-custody documentation Protect patient confidentiality Follow all specimen-handling procedures Provide timely pickup and delivery updates Requirements Must live within 15-20 minutes of the pickup locations Valid driver's license Reliable, clean, and insured vehicle Smartphone with GPS Clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Ability to meet military and federal facility access requirements Must be dependable, punctual, and responsive Medical courier experience is preferred HIPAA, bloodborne-pathogen, specimen-handling, or HAZMAT training is a plus Must complete required training before accepting routes Compensation $22 per completed route No guaranteed number of routes or weekly hours Required parking and tolls will be reimbursed with documentation To Apply Please provide your ZIP code, current availability, delivery experience, vehicle information, and confirmation that you can consistently arrive at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center or Womack Army Medical Center within 45 minutes.
