Job Description
Courier / Delivery Driver Mid-Valley Chimney is hiring a dependable Courier / Delivery Driver to join our team! We are looking for a reliable, organized individual to help keep our crews and operations moving efficiently. This position will be responsible for delivering materials, equipment, fabricated chimney caps, chase covers, and other parts to job sites , as well as picking up materials from vendors and handling other company transportation needs. This is a great position for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and being an important part of a team. What You'll Be Doing Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites Deliver custom chimney caps, chase covers, and fabricated parts Pick up materials and orders from suppliers and vendors Transport materials between company locations, job sites, and the metal shop Load and unload materials safely Verify that the correct materials are being picked up and delivered Help organize materials for upcoming jobs Communicate with office staff, technicians, installers, and shop personnel Keep the company delivery vehicle clean and organized Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs Assist with miscellaneous shop and warehouse tasks when deliveries are caught up Help ensure crews have the materials they need to complete jobs efficiently What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and good driving record Dependable and punctual Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Comfortable driving throughout the workday Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment Good communication skills Attention to detail when checking orders and deliveries Familiarity with construction materials, tools, or chimney products is a plus Willingness to help wherever needed What We Offer Full-time position Consistent work On-the-job training Team-oriented work environment Opportunity to learn more about the chimney, construction, and fabrication industries Opportunity for advancement within the company Apply Today If you're dependable, organized, enjoy driving, and like having variety in your workday , we'd like to hear from you.
