Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles used for delivery purposes Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks Plan and follow efficient route driving schedules while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Deliver packages directly to customers' homes or businesses with professionalism and excellent customer service skills Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch teams Conduct safety checks on vehicles before each shift, ensuring compliance with safe lifting practices and vehicle maintenance protocols Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents during the shift Qualifications Previous experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box truck operation is a plus Ability to lift heavy packages safely, demonstrating knowledge of safe lifting practices and weight handling in the workplace Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety standards related to commercial driving Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients Experience operating mobile devices for route management and delivery documentation Ability to move packages efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Join us as a Parcel Delivery Driver if you're energized by the thrill of navigating routes, enjoy engaging directly with customers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where your efforts make a real difference!
