Job Description

Overview Join our team as a local driver delivering building materials for The Home Depot. Driver will utilizing a daycare truck, 36' flatbed trailer and an attached Moffett forklift to unload product to customer's and Contractor's driveway. Deliveries are pre-pulled and loaded by associates. No tarping or appliance installs are required with this position. Hours are 6am to finished (up to 10 hours), Monday through Saturday. Pay is $1200/week. Paid weekly by direct deposit. No benefits for this position. Duties Safely operate class A trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to deliver building materials across designated routes. Load and unload materials using forklifts. Verify delivery orders, ensure accuracy of shipments, and obtain customer signatures upon delivery. Maintain timely delivery schedules by planning efficient routes and adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with unloading materials and answering any questions about their orders. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met. Keep detailed records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays during routes. Experience Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse logistics is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate commercial vehicles with manual transmissions safely. Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and clear communication. Knowledge of route planning, load & unload procedures, and traffic safety regulations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL certification with 2 years experience is required. Must be able to pass background check. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of moving throughout the workday. Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills help build communities!
