About the Role Munchies is looking for a dependable delivery driver who knows how to move through Queens and NYC safely, communicate with customers, and deliver the correct order on time. If you have delivered for DoorDash, Grubhub, Instacart, a restaurant, or another local business, we want to hear from you. This is an employee position with an hourly wage. You'll be part of the dispensary team, with clear procedures, training, and support from the store. The right person takes pride in driving safely, handles products and payments carefully, and knows that a great delivery is about more than arriving at the door. What You'll Do Pick up assigned orders and verify the order details before leaving the store. Plan routes, use delivery technology, and provide accurate updates when traffic or another issue affects an order. Confirm the recipient's identity and age before handing over cannabis products. Follow Munchies procedures for secure transport, customer privacy, payment collection, and documenting completed or unsuccessful deliveries. Keep orders secure and never leave cannabis unattended or with an unauthorized person. Communicate promptly with the store about delays, address problems, customer concerns, accidents, or vehicle issues. Follow traffic laws, Munchies procedures, and New York cannabis delivery requirements. Required Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Valid driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history . Driving record that meets Munchies' safety and vehicle insurance requirements. At least one year of delivery, courier, or other professional driving experience. Comfortable driving and parking in Queens and other assigned NYC delivery areas. Strong customer service skills and a professional, respectful manner. Able to use a smartphone, GPS, and delivery apps accurately. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently while staying in contact with the store. Able to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications Experience with DoorDash, Grubhub, Instacart, restaurant delivery, courier services, or local retail delivery. Familiarity with Far Rockaway, the Rockaways, Queens, and surrounding delivery areas. Experience handling customer payments and resolving delivery issues. Previous experience in a licensed cannabis dispensary. What Success Looks Like Customers receive the correct order, delivered safely and on time. Every handoff follows identification and delivery procedures. Delays and problems are reported promptly. Orders, payments, and delivery records are accounted for. Customers feel respected, and the store can rely on you. Required Training Munchies provides required cannabis and store training at no cost during paid working time.
