Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dealership Driver, where your enthusiasm and driving skills will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, assisting customers with their automotive needs, and supporting dealership operations with professionalism and efficiency. Your positive attitude and reliable driving will help create a welcoming environment for every guest who walks through our doors. Duties Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including standard passenger cars and delivery trucks, ensuring smooth and secure transportation within the dealership premises and to external locations. Perform outdoor work such as parking, retrieving vehicles, and managing valet services with attention to safety and efficiency. Support dealership operations by lifting heavy items like tires or equipment as needed during vehicle servicing or inventory management. Maintain clear communication with team members regarding vehicle status, delivery schedules, and customer requests to ensure seamless service delivery. We have six dealerhsip locations in Rome, Hamilton, Geneva and Penn Yan NY. This job is mainly driving to different locations picking up and dropping off new and used vehicles. We also send drivers to different new car dealership to perform new car dealer trades. Must be able to walk around a vehicles and make sure there is not damage before bringing back to Friendly Auto. Qualifications Proven experience operating standard passenger cars and delivery vehicles, preferably within a dealership or hospitality environment. Strong guest services skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that enhances customer satisfaction. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members; bilingual abilities are advantageous. Knowledge of automotive service processes and valet parking procedures is preferred. Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a dealership environment will be highly valued.
