Convenience Store General Manager Salary:

$100,000-$125,000 per year Full-Time | 5+ Years of Management Experience Required We are looking for an experienced Gas Station / Convenience Store General Manager to take full ownership of a high-volume retail operation. This is not an entry-level management role. We are looking for a proven leader who can manage people, control costs, drive sales, maintain strong operational standards, and run the business with a high level of accountability. The right candidate will be hands-on, visible in the operation, comfortable making decisions, and capable of leading a large team in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Be Responsible For Oversee all day-to-day store and fuel operations Manage sales, labor, expenses, inventory, margins, and profitability Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain a strong team Build effective schedules based on business needs Hold managers and team members accountable for performance Monitor and improve customer service standards Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and well-stocked location Oversee fuel inventory, deliveries, pump operations, and related controls Manage cash handling, deposits, shortages, overages, refunds, and register activity Control inventory, shrink, waste, and loss prevention Ensure pricing, merchandising, and promotional execution are accurate Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and vendor relationships Ensure compliance with all safety, fuel, lottery, tobacco, alcohol, and age-restricted product requirements as applicable Review financial and operational results and take action when performance falls below expectations Develop supervisors, assistant managers, and future leaders Respond to customer, employee, or operational issues as needed What We're Looking For 5+ years of management experience required Strong preference for experience in: Gas stations Convenience stores High-volume retail Grocery Quick-service restaurants Hospitality or similar operations Experience leading and developing a large team Strong understanding of labor management, inventory, sales, and expense control Experience managing P&L performance Strong operational and organizational skills Ability to analyze results and make sound business decisions Strong communication and leadership ability Comfortable holding people accountable Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs The Person We Want We are looking for someone who treats the operation like their own business.

Compensation & Benefits Salary:
