Qualifications Work Experience Minimum at least one (1) year of recent (within the past three (3) years) of H-60 or UH-1N aircraft maintenance experience. Educational Qualifications Military aviation technical school (CDC—military correspondence course or equivalent acceptable) or possess an Airframe and Power Plant License. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge and skills Knowledge of the use of hand and special tools, and testers is required. Knowledge (aircraft/vehicle movement and safety/hazards) of flight line operations is desired. Knowledge of aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications is desired. Working knowledge (input and extract data) of IMDS is desired. Knowledge of vibration analysis and troubleshooting procedures desired. Must be willing and able to perform in-flight FCF checks. General Must have basic working knowledge of aircraft safety directives. Must have a current civilian drivers license, and be able to obtain and maintain a government flight line driver's license. Must be able to read, write, and understand English Must be able to obtain and maintain Restricted Area Badge (Position of Trust) clearance. Must be willing to work any shift, including weekends. Must be willing to travel (infrequent, <10). Required lifting up to 50 lbs.
